How to download an Audit Report in Trace

Our Audit Report provides a downloadable, detailed report to give you full confidence in your carbon footprint data. This has been built to include all the data you need for audit and assurance.

Trace's Audit Trail Report includes

- Complete Audit Trail: All the data, formulas, and methodologies in one place.
- Full Transparency: Clear documentation of emissions factors, sources, and assumptions.
- Downloadable Report: Easy access to the inputs, calculations, and results for every emission.

How to download your Audit Report:

1. Log in to the Trace app and go to the Data section.

2. Locate the Profile You Need

Find the relevant measurement profile. Make sure the profile is in an Active state, as the audit report download option is only available for active profiles.

3. Access the Options Menu

Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side of the profile entry.

4. Select “Download Audit Report”

 

Once selected, the system will generate and download a report file summarizing key activity logs, inputs, and changes made within that measurement profile.

Who Can Use This Feature?

  • ✅ Available for: All customers except those on the Starter plan.

  • ❌ Not available for: Starter plan users.

Notes

  • Ensure your measurement profile is Active; otherwise, the option won’t appear.

  • Audit reports can support internal documentation, audits, and compliance checks.
