Why can't I upload my CSV file?
To ensure that your data is read correctly by the app, it must fit into our provided CSV template. If you’re having trouble uploading your CSV file, it’s often due to a few common formatting issues. Please review the following points to ensure your file is properly structured:
- Incorrect Number Formatting: For fields like spend values, make sure there are no commas, currency symbols, or spaces. For example, use "1000" instead of "£1,000" or "1,000".
- Date: Dates must be formatted as DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY/MM/DD
- Extra or Missing Columns: Your file should only contain the necessary data. Check your file for any extra or missing columns. Also, make sure there are no empty rows or cells.
- Additional data: Do not add any additional data that is not specified in the format
