How do we set up Microsoft Azure Single Sign On (SSO)?

Who should do this: Cloud Application Administrator (or Global Administrator)
Where to go: Microsoft Entra admin center


1. Sign in


2. Approve the “Our Trace” Application

  • In the left menu, go to Enterprise Applications.

  • Search for “Our Trace”.

    • If it’s already there: click into it and confirm users/groups are assigned.

    • If it’s not there yet: it will appear automatically the first time someone from your org tries “Sign in with Microsoft” at trace portal .

      • When prompted, click Accept to grant permissions on behalf of your organization.

      • This creates the Enterprise Application entry for Our Trace.


3. (Optional) Restrict or Assign Access

  • Still inside Enterprise Applications → Our Trace, go to Users and groups.

  • Add the people or groups who should be allowed to use Trace.

  • If you want to restrict access, toggle “User assignment required”.


4. Confirm Setup

  • Test by logging in at trace portal with “Sign in with Microsoft.”

  • If login succeeds, you’re all set.
